The day that started the rest of our lives together.
July 25, 2013 was the day before our wedding.
I had taken the day off so I could get every last minute
thing ready. We also had a little dress rehearsal down at
Millennial Falls
well the bridesmaid, did at least  Shad thought it was not
necessary [or important] to invite his groomsmen..
After that we went back to my parents
house and had a little BBQ for our immediate family
and a few close friends who were
in our wedding party.

Saying goodbye to Shad
that night we realized how that was going
to be the last night of saying goodbye.
It was then that we realized the next
day was our day.

[Then we had to push Shads car half way
down my street because it would not start.
That's going to be a funny memory.]

July 26, 2013

Everyone thought I would not be able to sleep from all the excitement
and anticipation after waiting nine months for this day to come.
But I slept like a baby!
I woke up with pure joy for that day. My bridesmaid and I went
and got pedicures that morning to try and relax me.
Which it did, the massage was probably the
best thing ever for me because
I was so stressed about everything going right.
After that we headed back to my house which was chaos
We were trying to get last minute pictures in frames,
and make sure we had all of our decorations,
and clothes all ready to go.  I also had not packed
much yet so I was trying to think of everything I would need
for my honeymoon and also what I needed for my wedding!!
It was crazy!
My cousin Jessica came over to get a ride
down and walked in asking what she could help with.
I looked at her and could not even tell her because
I was running around so much, and could not keep my mind straight.

I had to go all day without seeing Shad
and I am pretty sure that made the day go by so slow!!
We started to drive down to Draper and that is when
I really started to think about where I was driving..
I was driving to go start my life with a man I am so in love with.
A man who never gave up on me no matter how stubborn I was.
A man I consider to be my best friend.
Who has stayed by my side for 2 years.
A man I know I could not live without.
A man who I could complete be myself with.
A man who would give up anything just to be with me.

Once we got off the exit my hands started to shake.
It wasn't a bad shake it was just anxiety and excitement.
Once we got to Millennial Falls, we went straight up
to the brides room to start doing my hair and make-up.
My cousin Mallory did my hair, and Jessica did my make-up.
I am so thankful to my bridesmaids my sisters
Katie, Kimmie, my cousin Jessica and one of my best friends Sarah
for being with me and helping me get ready.
They were so much fun to be around and made me not stressed out.

The only scare we had was that my family from
out of town got lost and they had a lot
of the decorations and the video we had made of us growing up.
I was trying not to panic but come on its my wedding day
anything would scare me. I think my mother was
worrying me more. They arrived probably about 15 minutes after someone told me.

Soon after we put me in my dress while I was doing so
Shad and I had exchanged letters that we had wrote to each other.
Of course as soon as I started to read it I started to cry.
I was so ready to just go out and be with Shad.

After that we took a few pictures as just the girls.
We then got ready to walk down,
one by one my bridesmaids walked out
to the song "1,000 years" by Boyce Avenue.
Then it was my turn to meet my dad
and the tears started.
He told me I looked beautiful
and that he loved me.

Then I saw Shad and I couldn't have been any happier.
I couldn't stop staring
and smiling at him during the whole ceremony.

After that the whole night went by so fast!
We took the family pictures, then we took
our bridals and grooms
because I wanted to keep that part old fashion
Shad never got to see my dress
until I was walking down the aisle.
We ate the cake,
danced a lot,
and then it was time to go.
It was a beautiful night
and I am so lucky and thankful
for all the friends and family that shared
our special day with us.

[[ I absolutely love how this picture turned out! ]]

You bet I put my zebra vans on right after the ceremony.
